Mile 5.2 Greenhouse & Gift Shop, LLC is a privately owned corporation operating year round and centrally located in Downtown Eagle River, Alaska, just a fifteen minute drive from Anchorage. As the big box store epidemic expands to Eagle River, a small business such as ours has become noticeably unique.

We have a fantastic selection of 125+ varieties of second year Zone 3, Perennials, Berry Plants and Fruit Trees wintering over under several feet of snow to increase hardiness and eliminate transplant shock. We grow 150+ varieties of  colorful annuals along with beautiful hanging baskets in every color of the rainbow for both sun and shade. We're well known for our huge selection of Herbs, especially Basil. Our Herbs are also available Fresh Cut by the bag ready for your dinner tonight.

Year round we have one of the largest selections of unique and unusual Tropical plants that you just won't find elsewhere. Lemon Trees, Lime and Orange Trees, Banana Trees, Hawaiian Volcano Plants, Jasmine, Gardenias, Bromeliads, Tillandsias, Air Plants and  Juniper Bonsai are just a few of our specialties.
